The Cottage
This converted Cricket Pavilion has been completely refurbished at the start of 2011 to offer spacious 2 bedroom holiday accommodation.
Situated in the village of Bodium. East Sussex within 500 yards of the National trusts Bodiam Castle and with the Kent and East Sussex Steam Railway in sight. The cottage is on a working farm and overlooks the village playing field to one side where one can occasionally sit and watch a Sunday afternoon cricket match.
There is also a vineyard opposite the property. This is a fantastic area for walking with access to many footpaths and walks from the front door. It is situated down a private lane with access only to the cottage itself and the farm so a very quiet position.

The Bodiam Area
Bodiam is a small village boasting a magnificent castle with moat and grounds. Visitors on foot are welcome to wander through the grounds and around the castle and are usually admitted free to the many events that are held here throughout the year. However, there is a small charge to go into the castle itself.
The River Rother runs through the village and in peak season a ferry operates from Bodiam Castle to Northiam. The castle is run by the National Trust and has a tea room and giftshop. The Castle Inn offers a warm welcome and serves a wide range of excellent food.
The KESR station that is visible from the cottage hosts many events incuding The Hop Pickers Weekend. Visitors can also go from Bodiam to Tenterden by steam train. Tenterden is a charming old market town and offers a wide range of shops.
