Abbey View Holiday Cottages Battle.
This converted Cricket Pavilion was completely refurbished at the start of 2011 to offer spacious 2 bedroom holiday accommodation.
We also have reconstructed a barn and some other farm buildings to now offer Coopers Cottages. These consist of 2 x 2 bedroom cottages each sleeping 4 ,1x1 bedroom cottage sleeping 2 along with a 4 bedroom cottage which sleeps 8. In total 18 people can be accommodated in Coopers Cottages and is ideal for larger groups and family get togethers.
These Cottages are surrounded by vineyards and are a 10 minute walk through the vineyard to The Castle Inn and also The Castle itself. Coopers Cottages ahve a Play area with climbing frames.goals and netball hoops. This is located close to the cottages so that parents can relax whilst the children play.
Situated in the village of Bodiam. East Sussex The Old Cricket Pavilion is within 500 yards of the National trusts Bodiam Castle and with the Kent and East Sussex Steam Railway in sight. The cottage is on a working farm and overlooks the village playing field to one side where one can occasionally sit and watch a Sunday afternoon cricket match.
There is also a vineyard opposite the property. This is a fantastic area for walking with access to many footpaths and walks from the front door. It is situated down a private lane with access only to the cottage itself and the farm so a very quiet position.
In 2016 more farm building were bought back into use on aour site at Battle. These derelict buildings included an Old dairy a grain store ,barn and cow byres.
They have been tastefully reinvented to now offer 6 self contained Cottages.
2 x 2 bedroom Compact Cottages.each sleeping 4 with a double room and twin room.
1x 2 bedrrom Cottage slightly larger and with one double and one twin room.
1x2 bedroom detached cottage with wider doors and walk in shower. This property sleeps 4/5 and has one double room 1 twin room and pull out bed for an extra guest if needed.
The Grain Store has been converted to offer a deatched 3 Bedroom accommodation with 1 double 1 twin and 1 single room. Sleeps 5
The centre batrn is now a 3 bed cottage sleeping 6 in 1 x Double 1x family with bunkbeds and 1 single and a single room.
ALL OF OUR COTTAGES ARE PET FRIENDLY. THE OLD CRICKET PAVILION HAS AN ENCLOSED GARDEN COOPERS COTTAGES HAVE ENCLOSED PATIO AREAS AND NUMBER 5 AND 6 ABBEY VIEW HAVE ENCLOSED GARDENS.
